Stephanie Zeiner joined the Washington Wildlife First team as our fundraising and outreach director in November 2025.
With nearly a decade of experience in marketing, communications, and fundraising, she has a proven track record of leading creative campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and raise funds, and has a passion for community outreach and activism.
Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from Western Washington University, and has volunteered or worked for the YWCA, the American Lung Association, and the 50501 campaign in Clark County, Washington. She is experienced at communicating complex information in ways that are both compelling and accessible, building long-lasting, authentic partnerships, and executing strategic marketing campaigns. In five years working for the American Lung Association, she led digital marketing campaigns for the organization’s largest regional market, managing accounts across the West Coast and Southwest, driving revenue growth, and ensuring alignment with the national brand.
Born and raised in Olympia, Washington, Stephanie has called the Pacific Northwest home her whole life. She’s passionate about all the NW classics: hiking, whale-watching, kayaking, and enjoying a strong cider after a day outdoors. She is a long-time animal lover (her favorites are the northern sea otter and Pacific tree frog) and an active civic leader, organizing community fundraiser events and leading local marches to inspire positive change.
Stephanie lives in Clark County, Washington with her husband, her dog Milo, a very energetic heeler-mix rescue, and two rescue cats, Otis and Maggie.
