Peter Hapke is a Seattle environmental attorney who focuses his practice on resolving contaminated property issues, including state and federal Superfund sites. Over his 40-year career, Peter has practiced law at the U.S. Forest Service, the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, The Boeing Company and various law firms. He has had a solo practice since 2005.
Peter has had a passion for wildlife, especially wolves, since he was a boy. After almost becoming a wildlife biologist in college, he shifted to environmental law. Peter has supported a variety of wildlife advocacy groups since moving to Seattle in the 1990s. Peter lives in Seattle with his wife and two younger children (his eldest is off at college), and enjoys connecting with nature whenever he can.
