You Can Help Expose Agency Mismanagement
WA Wildlife First works with partners to obtain information about the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife from public sources—public meetings, openly disseminated materials, public disclosures requests, and documents produced during litigation. We are also fortunate that dozens of internal agency sources have reached out to us to share some of what they know.
But for every problem that we hear about, we know that there are many more that we are missing. That is where we need your help.
If you have information about WDFW that the public should know, please share it with us.
You can send us tips, share documents, or just give us suggestions of areas that you believe are worth a closer look. Whenever possible, please leave your contact information so that we can get in touch—if you ask us to keep your identity confidential, we will, as long we are legally able to do so.
However, we understand that agency employees may be reluctant to speak out because they are concerned about retaliation. We know that WDFW management has deliberately stoked an atmosphere of fear among its workforce, engaging in witch hunts to try to identify and punish employees who have sought to expose agency malfeasance.
To protect your identity, you can contact us anonymously by leaving an anonymous voice mail or sending us a message through our anonymous tip line. Please remember, however, that we cannot act on any tips unless we are able to independently verify their accuracy.
Help us to bring about meaningful and lasting agency reform.
